Choosing the Correct Cricket Size
Large 2.5cm crickets are best suited to appropriately sized adult reptiles and other larger insect-eating animals. As a general guide, choose feeder insects no wider than the space between your animal’s eyes.
Other cricket sizes available include pinhead, weanie, small and medium.
Cricket Care on Arrival
When your crickets arrive, place them in a well-ventilated container with sufficient room and hiding places. Provide suitable cricket food and a safe source of hydration, such as water-replacement gel or fresh produce. Keep them warm and dry, away from direct sunlight.
