Our live crickets are carefully raised on a quality high-protein meal and fresh produce. They are available in five sizes and multiple pack quantities, from tiny pinhead crickets for hatchlings through to large crickets for adult reptiles.

Live Cricket Size and Quantity Guide
Pinhead Crickets – 0.15cm
Approximately seven days old. Our smallest, soft-bodied cricket size is suitable for hatchling reptiles, tiny frogs, small spiders and other animals requiring extremely small live prey.
Available quantities: approximately 400, 1,600 or 3,500 pinhead crickets.
Weanie Crickets – 0.3cm
Approximately 12 days old. Weanie crickets are suitable for baby reptiles, small frogs and other animals that require very small, easily digestible live prey.
Available quantities: approximately 300, 1,200 or 2,600 weanie crickets.
Small Crickets – 1cm
Approximately 14 days old. Small crickets are wingless, soft-bodied and quiet. They are suitable for many young reptiles, frogs, small lizards, birds and other insect-eating animals.
Available quantities: approximately 220, 800 or 1,800 small crickets.
Medium Crickets – 1.25cm
Approximately 22 days old. Medium crickets are wingless, soft-bodied and quiet, making them a versatile feeder for many juvenile and adult reptiles, amphibians and birds.
Available quantities: approximately 180, 600 or 1,300 medium crickets.
Large Crickets – 2.5cm
Approximately 30 days old. Large crickets are fully winged, and the males may chirp. They are best suited to appropriately sized adult reptiles, amphibians, birds and other larger insect-eating animals.
Available quantities: approximately 120, 400 or 900 large crickets.
Choose crickets no wider than the space between your animal’s eyes. If you are unsure, select the smaller size or contact BioSupplies for assistance.
