Choosing the Correct Cricket Size
Weanie crickets are suitable for baby reptiles, small frogs and other animals that require very small live prey. As a general guide, choose feeder insects no wider than the space between your animal’s eyes.
Other cricket sizes available include pinhead, small, medium and large.
Cricket Care on Arrival
When your crickets arrive, place them in a secure, well-ventilated container with fine ventilation holes to prevent escape. Provide suitable cricket food and a safe hydration source, such as water-replacement gel or small pieces of fresh produce. Keep them warm and dry, away from direct sunlight.
