Choosing the Correct Cricket Size
Small crickets are suitable for many young reptiles, frogs, small lizards, birds and other small insect-eating animals. As a general guide, choose feeder insects no wider than the space between your animal’s eyes.
Other cricket sizes available include pinhead, weanie, medium and large.
Cricket Care on Arrival
When your crickets arrive, place them in a well-ventilated container with sufficient room and hiding places. Provide suitable cricket food and a safe hydration source, such as water-replacement gel or fresh produce. Keep them warm and dry, away from direct sunlight.
